Choline transporter-like protein 1 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the SLC44A1 gene.[5][6][7]
Papillary glioneuronal tumors characteristically exhibit a gene fusion between SLC44A1 and PRKCA.[8][9][10] Loss of function mutations have been implicated in ethanolamine transport. [11]
