Toshiko Hayashi (Japanese: 林 紀子, Hepburn: Hayashi Toshiko; 27 February 1940 - 25 January 2022) was a member of the Japanese Communist Party[1] and former member of the House of Councillors.[2] She was educated at Gunma University.[1] In 1989, she was elected to the House of Councillors,[3] and she took office in 1990.[1]
Hayashi died on 25 January 2022 from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.[4]
