The Tarija Concha Formation is a Tremadocian geologic formation of southern Bolivia. The shales and siltstones were deposited in a shallow marine environment.[1]
Fossil content
The formation has provided the following fossils:
- Bienvillia tetragonalis
- Leptoplastides granulosus
- Apatokephalus sp.
