The Sleeman River is a river located in the Great Southern region of Western Australia.[1] It flows into Wilson Inlet, with its origins situated near the Hay River.[2][3] Its approximate coordinates are 34°58′0.1″S latitude and 117°28′58.8″E longitude. The river has a total length of approximately 0.49 kilometres (0.30 mi) and has a total fall of 11.5 metres (38 ft) over its course.[4]
Geography
The River has a drainage basin covering approximately 92 square kilometers.[5] It flows year-round and empties into the eastern side of Wilson Inlet near Youngs Siding.[6] The outflow is located between where the Hay River and Cuppup Creek discharge.[7]
