Plevun (Bulgarian: Плевун, Greek: Πλαβού) is a village in the municipality of Ivaylovgrad, in Haskovo Province, in southern Bulgaria.^[1]

The name of the village, derives from its Greek name during the Middle Ages, "Παλαιοβοῦνι" (Paleovouni).
