Mierzęcice [mʲɛʐɛɲˈt͡ɕit͡sɛ] (Silesian: Miercecyce) is a village in Będzin County, Silesian Voivodeship, in southern Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Mierzęcice.[1] It lies approximately 13 km (8 mi) north of Będzin and 24 km (15 mi) north-east of the regional capital Katowice.
