Michael J. Borgschulte (born c. 1969) is a United States Marine Corps lieutenant general who most recently served as the deputy commandant for manpower and reserve affairs of the United States Marine Corps from 2024 to 2025. He previously served as the commanding general of the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing from 2023 to 2024.[1]

Military career

Borgschulte has served as the director of manpower management of the Marine Corps.[2] In March 2023, he was nominated for promotion to lieutenant general and assignment as deputy commandant for manpower and reserve affairs.[3][4] In July 2025, he was nominated for reappointment as a lieutenant general and assignment as superintendent of the United States Naval Academy.[5][6][7]
