The Mazin Bin Ghadoubah Mosque, also known as Masjid Māzin and Masjid Al-Midhmar, is a mosque located in Samail, in the Muscat region of the Ad Dakhiliyah Governorate, in the Sultanate of Oman. Founded by Mazin bin Ghadouba, the first Omani Muslim,[1] and completed in c. 627 CE, it is the oldest mosque in the country. Built in stone and marble, the mosque was restored and renovated in 1979 and in 2017.[2][3]
