Kokrajhar University formally known as Kokrajhar Government College (KGC) is a is a university located in Kokrajhar, Assam, India. It was established as Kokrajhar College in 1959 at the heart of the town. The college is promoted to the status of a university by Government of Assam by the Kokrajhar University Act 2024.

Affiliating university and council

The college was affiliated to Gauhati University for degree level until 2019-20. Now the college is affiliated to Bodoland University and the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council for Higher Secondary level.
