Kawęczyn [kaˈvɛnt͡ʂɨn] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Szczebrzeszyn, within Zamość County, Lublin Voivodeship, in eastern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 2 km (1 mi) west of Szczebrzeszyn, 23 km (14 mi) west of Zamość, and 69 km (43 mi) south-east of the regional capital Lublin.
