Kabir Hossain (c. 14 April 1938 – 3 May 2023) was a Bangladesh Nationalist Party politician who served as a member of parliament for the Rajshahi-5 constituency.[1]
Career
Hossain was elected to parliament from Rajshahi-5 as a Bangladesh Nationalist Party candidate in 2001.[2]
Death
On 3 May 2023, Hossain, age 85, was pronounced dead at the Rajshahi Medical College Hospital in Rajshahi[3] due to old age. According to a statement made by Mossaddique Hossain Bulbul, BNP's forest and environment affairs secretary, Hossain had been suffering from various old-age complications, including diabetes, heart disease and high blood pressure.
