Hydroptilinae is a subfamily of the microcaddisflies in the family Hydroptilidae. The subfamily includes at least 60 genera and 1,600 described species.[1][2]
The type genus for Hydroptilinae is Hydroptila,described by J.W. Dalman, 1819.[1]
