The 2025–26 Tanzanian Premier League (known as the NBC Premier League for sponsorship reasons) will be the 61th season of the Tanzanian Premier League, the top-tier football league in Tanzania (mainland only), since its establishment in 1965. The season started on 16 September 2025 and ended on 23 May 2026.[1]
Young Africans are the defending champions, having won their fourth consecutive Premier League title (and 31th Tanzanian top-flight crown overall) in the previous season.[2][3]
Mtibwa Sugar returned to Premier League after one season away and Mbeya City returned to Premier League after two seasons away.[4]

Tanzanian Premier League play-off
The 13th and 14th-placed teams qualified for the Tanzanian Premier League play-off, alongside the 3rd and 4th-placed teams from the 2025–26 Tanzanian Championship League. The Championship teams faced each other over two legs; the Premier League teams then also faced each other over two legs, with the winners remaining in the Tanzanian Premier League and the losers competing against the Championship play-off winners for the final place in the following season's Tanzanian Premier League.
