The 2025–26 season will be F.C. Motagua's 79th season in existence and the club's 60th consecutive season in the top fight of Honduran football. In addition to the domestic league, the club will also compete in the 2025 CONCACAF Central American Cup.[1]
Overview
The club will try to improve their 2024–25 season where they won one out of four tournaments they competed on. On 11 August, DT Diego Vásquez was sacked due to poor results and was replaced by Javier López.[2]
