The 2025–26 Colorado Avalanche season will be the 47th season for the Avalanche as the National Hockey League (NHL) franchise that joined the league in 1979, and their 30th playing season since the franchise relocated from Quebec City to Denver prior to the start of the 1995–96 season.[1]
